Fujisan(Mt.Fuji) World Heritage Centre is in the city-centre of Fujinomiya-City, located on the foothills of Fujisan, the highest mountain in japan which has been classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2013.

The Centre was built to be a facility basement to enlighten about the ancient roots of "Fujisan, sacred place and source of artistic inspiration" the future generations.

In there, not only people from the country but also people from overseas can learn the history, culture, and nature of Fujisan in various ways.

The world-widely renowned architect, Mr. Shigeru Ban, has designed the blueprint of the Centre.

The high-profile, inverted-cone-shaped monument was built in combination of 8000 local Fuji cypresses, and its reflections on the water feature show you the beautiful form of Fujisan.

In the monument, there is an exhibition hall, and in there, you can virtually experience climbing Fujisan whilst enjoying Fujisan scenery virtually projected on the walls.
